Hi again,
Today I am thankful for footprints in the snow. I have always enjoyed looking for footprints in the snow and today I spotted a bunch of tracks in the fresh snow. Mostly birds and some squirrel tracks. I don't know what it is exactly that is so fascinating about them-maybe because they are so delicate and cute and small. Some footprints are not small at all though that come from the moose and deer. lol I like to take photos of them sometimes as well. I think I also like them because it is a little reminder of the wildlife that lives around us that we don't neccessarily see but they leave behind tiny evidence in the form of footprints to show us where they have been. Often the footprints are so perfect that it is kind of neat to look at. I am not sure if I have really answered why I am thankful for footprints in the snow though. I suppose I am thankful for them because they are fun to look at as well and make me smile. But explaining why this makes me smile isn't an easy task. lol I suppose it is just one of those simple little things that bring a smile to my face and I am thankful for that.
