Day 56: Nana Mouskouri Christmas music

Hi again,
Today I am thankful for Nana Mouskari Christmas music. Ever since I was little we have listened to Nana Mouskouri at Christmas time. It used to be on a record but then cd players came out and we transfered it to cd so we could continue to listen to it. She has such a beautiful voice and the songs she sings are such wonderful songs. Again like the last post, I am thankful also for the memories I remember when I listen to her songs. I find it so neat how a song can evoke memories of events that happened while listening to that music. One in particular is when we were little and we all took part in putting up the Christmas tree and we would play Nana Mouskouri (and other songs) while we decorated the tree. Another memory would be when we opened Christmas presents and had her music playing softly in the background. Some very good memories. Also I enjoy the songs and the reminder of why we celebrate Christmas which can too often get lost among the hustle and bustle and stress of the season. So this is why I am thankful for Nana Mouskouri Christmas music.
