Day 62: Lunar Eclipse

Hi again,
This post is for yesterday but I am posting it today. I am thankful for the Lunar Eclipse that happened last night and being able to stay up to watch it! It is extremely rare to have a lunar eclipse on the Winter Solistice. The last time that one happened on this day was about 400 yrs ago and the next time that one will happen on this day isn't till the 25th century! Aside from how rare it is to see one on this day, it can be really difficult to be able to see a lunar eclipse when it happens because of clouds covering the moon or it isn't visible where you live. I have seen one other Lunar Eclipse in my life and that was when I was quite young and it was in the summer I believe. It is so fascinating to watch an eclipse. So this is why I am thankful for Lunar Eclipses. Thanks for reading my blog and have a very Merry Christmas!!!!
